Jainendra Public School, Chandigarh
Sh. Jainendra Gurukul, Panchkula was founded on 21st February 1929 by two Jain saints Swami Dhani Ramji Maharaj and Acharya Shri Krishan Chanderji with the blessings of Acharya Sh. Atma Ram Maharaj. The founders of this institution had started it with the vision of spreading Indian culture and moral values in the society. To cater the local’s needs, the Jainendra Gurukul established Jainendra Public School in 1982 with the vision of infusing traditional values blended with the modern technological and educational concepts.
The school curriculum makes extensive use of audio visual teaching aids, including the internet and multimedia. Special workshops on music, dance, art and craft and other subjects of interest are also held regularly. There is a well-stocked library to inculcate reading habits among children.
