At German International School Chennai, we support this by providing the following curricula: From the 1st to 8th grade students are taught in full accordance with the Thuringian curriculum. From beginning of 2013 the classes for 9th and 10th grade are held according to the internationally recognized curriculum, the International General Certificate of Secondary Education. This certificate corresponds to the German Realschulabschluss (secondary school certificate) and is recognized as such throughout Germany.
