Chavara Higher Secondary School, Chhattisgarh
The school is named after the founder of CMC Congregation blessed Chavara Kuriakose Elias who is the pioneering visionary of modern education in India . He was born in 10th February 1805 in Kainakari in Kerala . He is the one who initiated the publis system of formal schooling in Kerala in 19th centuary . The concept of women’s liberation and compulsory education of children have their origin in the thought and action of this great visionary.
