Vidya Devi Jindal School,Hisar
Late Shri OP Jindal, former Member of Parliament, philanthropist, industrialist of Haryana had a vision for a progressive state where men and women would be equal to each other and in their equality lay the secret for the state’s advancement.
The result of this vision was the birth of Vidya Devi Jindal School, a girls residential school at Hisar in Haryana (India). It was the maiden venture of the Vidya Devi Jindal Rural Development Trust established in 1981 by Shri OP Jindal. The school became functional in July 1984 and was granted affiliation by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the same year.
